Although 4K is the new de facto resolution for much streaming content, most cable content is only broadcast in Full HD. If you’re not feeling ready to jump on the 4K bandwagon and would settle for a 40-inch screen size, then this is it Hisense A4G, which is available at Best Buy for $149 (opens in new tab) could be for you

Without testing it ourselves we can’t claim to know how it would perform – but the specs seem okay for the price. The speakers are probably on the weaker side and the smart VIDAA platform isn’t something we see a lot here in the US, so some apps are likely to be missing, but the core features are all there.

When they were announced a few years ago, QNED TVs were all the rage. They’re basically QLED TVs beefed up with a mini LED light source. This gives you the color accuracy and vibrancy of a QLED with the contrast of an OLED.

In short, people are crazy about them.

The QNED 83 is the latest in LG’s QNED lineup and offers the same benefits as its ancestors while including the latest WebOS version, Magic Remote, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos support.

This is a premium 65 inch mini LED TV at an exceptional price.

We mentioned the smaller size of the Insignia F30, but the larger 75-inch size is also available at a great price – it’s simple $549 at Best Buy after a whopping $300 discount (opens in new tab).

Insignia isn’t a brand we recommend often, but with a built-in Fire TV platform, this model is better than other models in the lineup. As you can see, the customer response to this model has been outstanding. There are currently over 200 reviews and the TV has a 4.6 rating on Best Buy – which is great.

We’ll keep an eye on this one in case it drops even lower, but for $549, you’re already getting one of the best deals on a 75-inch TV before Black Friday.

Samsung QN90B Neo QLED TV

OLED TVs get a lot of fame as the best type of TV, but QLEDs hold their own against the self-emissive panels – particularly the QN90B.

As the penultimate 4K QLED TV, the QN90B delivers incredible contrast and clarity with superb HDR performance and high peak brightness. Its upscaling is second to none thanks to its Neo Quantum Processor 4K, which uses AI-based deep learning to upscale sub-4K content to 4K, and we love its Smart Calibration software.

The QN90B ticks a lot of boxes – so if you’re looking for a phenomenal 85-inch TV, the QN90B has our unreserved recommendation.

To complement a new TV you may have already bought, we recommend you consider a Roku Streaming Stick 4K, as it’s one of the best streaming devices you can buy and your TV’s capabilities don’t match can raise a lot of money.

This premium streaming stick offers a super clean user interface and a comprehensive app store, which comes in handy to access the best streaming services. And we really appreciate that Roku has shown restraint when it comes to cluttering its interface with ads and content recommendations. We can’t say that about the user experience on Fire TV 4K.

LG C1 OLED Super Bowl Offer

If sometimes you don’t choose the latest model of OLED TV, you can get some good discounts. For example, the excellent LG C1 OLED can be found discounted on Amazon as it has been replaced by the LG C2 OLED TVs.

But that doesn’t mean the C1 isn’t a killer 4K OLED TV. It has great picture quality, deep blacks and good contrast, as well as a range of gaming features, most notably a 120Hz mode that works with the PS5 and Xbox Series X. We’re big fans of the LG C1 OLED here at Tom’s Guide, so we encourage you to give it a try.

Hisense Roku TV

Would you like to spend relatively little money and still get a big 4K TV? Then Hisense and Walmart have you covered with this early Black Friday deal.

You can buy the Hisense 58-inch 4K Roku TV for just $298 at Walmart, which puts this TV under the $300 price point, making it a steal. The TV offers HDR support, 4K resolution and Roku’s excellent operating system. It also features Dolby Vision/HDR 10 support, a 120Hz refresh rate, low-delay gaming mode and DTS Studio Sound. And it’s the cheapest 58-inch 4K TV we’ve seen this year.

We love a high-end TV here at Tom’s Guide, but we’d never turn our noses up at a more budget-oriented TV, especially one that comes with a range of smart features and healthy discounts.

For example, Walmart offers its Onn 65-inch 4K Roku TV for $368. The TV offers HDR10 support, Dolby Audio, Apple AirPlay/HomeKit/Hey Google compatibility and a voice remote control. Plus, it uses Roku’s excellent software to bring you hundreds of streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV, and more.

Badge F30 Fire TV

It’s not just huge 75-inch TVs and OLEDs that are being discounted for Black Friday. If you’re shopping on a budget this holiday season, there are plenty of savings on entry-level sets.

Case in point: this 43-inch Insignia F30 4K TV is available on Amazon for $219 (opens in new tab). That’s a savings of $80 compared to the full retail price of $299. This is a great choice if you need a second TV for a spare bedroom or office space, but it gets the job done in almost all situations. It offers full 4K Ultra HD resolution and easy access to the best streaming services. Plus, thanks to built-in Alexa capabilities, you can control the entire TV with just your voice.

LG C2 OLED TV with deal tag

It’s been mentioned before, but one of the biggest TVs of the last 12 months has been the LG C2 OLED – it scored a perfect 5 out of 5 here on Tom’s Guide and takes the top spot on our Best TVs list.

You can snag a $500 off the 55-inch version of the C2 OLED or $300 off the 77-inch version at Amazon thanks to an early Black Friday TV deal.

Those prices could drop even further in the coming weeks, but they’re already significantly cheaper than the RRP these TVs launched at a few months ago.

Samsung-75

The best part about Black Friday TV shopping is finding a 75 inch TV on sale at an incredibly low price. And that’s exactly what we found in the 75-inch TV690T.

For just $579 at Best Buy, you can get a giant LED 4K Smart TV. It uses direct LED lighting (better than edge lighting) and supports HDR. If you want to connect it to your smart home platforms, the TV supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can also use AirPlay 2 to stream content from your Apple device. Difficult to find a lower price for the size.

Samsung The Frame TV deal

Looking for something stylish to wear next to the tree? Samsung’s The Frame blends seamlessly into your holiday decor by turning into a photo display when you’re not looking.

While The Frame was usually more form than function, the latest model features a 120Hz display with Samsung’s integrated Tizen smart platform. We like the new matte finish, which significantly reduces glare, and the solar remote, which doesn’t use batteries.

Who would have thought that green could look so good.

One of the best deals we’ve seen from early Black Friday deals is that for the LG A2 OLED, available from Best Buy for $569 (opens in new tab).

This is of course true of the entry-level A-Series OLED, which only has a 60Hz refresh rate instead of the 120Hz rate of the B2 and C2 OLEDs, but you’d pay nearly double to get one of these models this size.

Instead you get a solid OLED, which is great for gaming Xbox One or PS4 and watching TV shows and movies that don’t need the snappyness that a 120Hz panel does.

Welcome, dear readers, to our Black Friday 2022 TV Deals blog. I’m Nick Pino, Managing Editor for TV and AV here at Tom’s Guide, and I’m thrilled to help you navigate these treacherous deals.

A little background on me: I’ve covered TVs for various websites including Tom’s Guide and TechRadar for almost a decade and I usually get a chance to see 60-70% of the TVs that come out in any given year for either one Review or at a trade show like CES.

When choosing TVs for others, I try to find the best value for money – I want to help you save, but I also want you to be blown away by what you end up buying, rather than going after it six months to hate.

I’ll be posting a number of recommendations over the coming weeks (I photograph at least a few deals a day) but feel free to contact me at Twitter (opens in new tab) or email if you have a specific question about an offer.
