These new innovations build on Stable Diffusion
Written by adrina

Stable Diffusion is expected to be one of the most powerful AI art generators; Almost a month has passed since its release, and yet the application continues to gain tremendous traction.

In our previous discussions, we’ve covered developments around stable diffusion – plugins like Figma, Photoshop, and Krita have been mentioned, among several others. Features like img2img and stable diffusion capabilities in Canva and WordPress were also highlighted.

Let’s talk about the latest developments surrounding Stable Diffusion as it celebrates the milestone of 1 million users on its DreamStudio platform.

Stable Diffusion X mixer

Recently, a Reddit user claimed to have developed a Stable Diffusion Blender Shader Editor plugin. Additionally, they claim that users can use written prompts to generate images and templates can be used to create more meaningful prompts. The created photos can also be used immediately in the current node tree by users.

A user on Twitter has it too divided a texture generator for Blender that allows users to create unique textures for free.

Stable Diffusion X Cinema 4D

Another Reddit user created a plugin that uses Stable Diffusion to render the Cinema 4D scene natively. The user claims that “the purpose of the plugin is to use steady distribution to bring life to a ‘basic’ scene that lacks realism, expressiveness, etc.”

The layout is based on the scene as a starting point. Stable Diffusion adds detail and higher quality. As input to Stable Diffusion, this mixes the image from Cinema with a text input.

Stable Diffusion X Photoshop

The Photoshop plug-in has been discussed at length, but it is believed that this one is comparatively easier to use. Although it doesn’t allow image expansion, it does support img2img. According to the creator, it is expected to have inpainting/outpainting capabilities soon.

Stable Diffusion X Hollywood

Filmmaker and cinematic artist Scott Lighthiser produced a new collection of blood-clotting humanoid creatures.

Lighthiser was able to accomplish this feat by combining real-world video footage with frame-to-frame functionality from NOP and WAS Stable Diffusion Colab and EbSynth, Secret Weapons – which can transform a movie by painting over a single frame.

Stable Diffusion X Canva!

We had discussed the likelihood of Canva introducing a text-to-image generator, but didn’t anticipate launching any time soon. Yes, you heard that right – now everyone’s favorite Canva tool has Stable Diffusion. The online graphic design tool took to Twitter to announce the launch of its text-to-image generator on the platform.

Stable Diffusion X GIMP

A Twitter user divided an announcement regarding the introduction of the Stable Diffusion plugin in the open source raster graphics editor GIMP.

GIMP is a free image editor that runs on multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, and others. Adding Stable Diffusion to GIMP may allow low-end machines to run the text-to-image engine locally.
