Better call Saul Creator Vince Gilligan has raised the possibility of a new one breaking Bad spin off.
Saulwhich itself is a spin-off/prequel of breaking Badis now less than a week from ending its run – and with that, fans will have to say goodbye to a beloved franchise they’ve had for 15 years.
There are undoubtedly other avenues Gilligan and his team could explore for a spin-off, prequel, or proper sequel breaking Badbut he admitted it Rolling Stone that he is ready to move on.

“Yes, I could do more with this universe,” he admitted. “And maybe one day I will, especially if I fail at everything that comes next. Then I come crawling back.
“But now, whether there’s more room to grow or not — and there probably is — I feel like it’s time to do something new.”
The author said that to continue with more breaking Bad now he’d feel like a “one-trick pony,” but that doesn’t mean the franchise is gone forever.
“Without naming any names, I’m looking around at some worlds, universes, stories that I love, whether they’re on TV or in movies. And I think there’s a certain point, and it’s hard to define, where you’ve done too much in the same universe,” he said.
“And some universes are much larger and more elastic. Ours is a very small, Albuquerque, New Mexico, compared to some of these worlds and series of movies and TV shows.”
