Hugh Jackman has hinted that his character, Wolverine, will not be toned down for his official MCU debut.
In September it was announced that Logan would be performing dead pool 3 alongside Ryan Reynolds. In conversation with AP entertainmentJackman teased that his Wolverine will be even “angrier” and dismissed the chance of a softer version of the X-Men mutant under Disney’s banner.
“There is no choice. He’s definitely angrier, kinda grumpier, and he’ll take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds. That is, physically,” Jackman said.

Jackman originally said 2017 logan would have been the last time fans saw him in the role. But he’s clearly changed his mind, thanks in part to his pal Reynolds’ daily pleas for a Wolverine/Deadpool team.
“It’s been five years and I really never thought I’d come back and I’m really, really excited about it,” he said, without commenting on any plot details.

“I’m going to have the time of my life,” he continued.
“I can tell you I’ve started back in the gym and I’m eating a lot – and I feel bad for the cast the music man [his Broadway musical] for how many protein shakes I eat – but it’s a lot of fun.”
Last month, Jackman finally caved in to Reynolds’ pleas to have a project involving both the Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine.
“I think it was a big shock for him. There was a massive pause, and then he said, ‘I can’t believe the timing of this,'” Jackman shared.
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 keep streaming Disney+and also available on digital download, DVD and Bluray. dead pool 3 is off September 6, 2024.
