The September 27 update is here Capcom Fighting Collection, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. The title is a fighting game compilation by Capcom in celebration of the Street Fighter series’ 35th anniversary. It was released on June 24th, 2022 and is getting pretty cool feedback from players. Meanwhile, today’s update comes with bug fixes and new features. Here everything is new with the Capcom Fighting Collection Updated September 27th.
Capcom Fighting Collection September 27th Update Patch Notes
Superpuzzle Fighter II Turbo
- A new Gem Colors option has been added to the game’s EX Settings. You can choose between the original palette of gem colors and up to 6 different alternative palettes.
Hyper Street Fighter 2
- A new Difficulty Chart option has been added to the game’s EX Settings. You can choose between a CPU opponent difficulty table based on the English version or the Japanese version.
Display Filter/Display Size
- Added “Type H” to the display filter options. You can now also preview the game screen when adjusting the display filter and display size options.
- Added Shuffled Slideshow feature to Gallery.
Capcom Fighting Collection update: Darkstalkers
- Phobos: Fixed an issue where an opponent’s KO with Circuit Scrapper would sometimes not transition into a victory pose. (This is a bug from the original game.)
Vampire Savior/Vampire Hunter 2/Vampire Savior 2
- Fixed an issue where selecting TURBO would set the speed to NORMAL even if the speed selection option was set to Free Choice options 1 through 3.
Super gem fighter - Fixed an issue where the game speed would be set to 1 if the speed selection option was set to “Free choice” regardless of what choice was made.
Nintendo Switch™ version: Fixed an issue that prevented players from viewing leaderboards.
Casual and ranked match searches
- It’s now easier to match up against opponents when going into a standby quest with only one game selected.
Capcom Fighting Collection Update: Custom Match Lobby Searches
- Lobbies in which a match is in progress are now displayed in the search results. When you join one of these lobbies, a waiting message will appear and you can join the lobby once the current game ends and the players.
- Fixed an issue that caused unintended audio errors during rollbacks.
Casual and ranked games
- It is now possible to abandon a match even if “Yes” was selected after matching with an opponent. Also, if you leave a game, you will be asked if you want to go back to sleep mode.
- You can now gauge an opponent’s latency by color. When matching opponents for casual and ranked games, this is indicated by the color of the line under the game title. In custom game lobbies, this is indicated by the color of the player’s mission number. You can now also change your input lag settings on either of these two screens.
- You can now play up to 10 rematches in Casual and Ranked (up from 3).
- Each player’s Online ID is now displayed on screen during matches.
- Added a “Hit Boxes” display setting to Training Options. Enable this setting to show character and effect hitboxes.
Super Gem Fighter/Hyper Street Fighter II/Red Earth
- The attack data display on the training mode screen now also shows stun data.
Capcom Fighting Collection update: Vampire Savior/ Vampire Hunter 2/ Vampire Savior 2
- A “Dark Force” option is now available in training mode. You can choose between normal behavior or infinite Dark Force display.
Vampire Savior/Vampire Savior 2
- The Gloomy Puppet Show option is now available in training mode. You can choose between normal (random) behavior for the movement or set it to one of 6 different patterns.
Super gem fighter
- A “Gem Level” option is now available in training mode. You can choose between normal behavior or lock each gem to a level from 1 to 3.
Red earth
- Character level option is now available in training mode.
- Both bonus levels have been added to the level selector in Boss Training mode.
- A “Mystic Orb” option is now available in training mode, allowing you to select an infinite number of orbs of each individual element.
- Restarting the game while moving left or right will now restart you at the edge of the screen.
- The pre-game intro no longer plays when restarting the game.
Capcom Fighting Collection update: Hyper Street Fighter II
- Updated the background design in E. Honda’s “JAPAN(E.Honda)” stage.
- Other minor bug fixes have been made.
