Whether they admit it or not, the adults out here raising children only want their children’s approval.

Imagine spending your entire career making families laugh and creating pivotal childhood memories through your movies, only for your kids to never see.

Here are 10 actors whose kids just don’t like their parents’ movies.

Alexa PenaVega told E! News that her three kids don’t like her breakout hit spy kids. Your kids are instead big fans of one of film creator Robert Rodriguez’s other favorite children’s movies, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. “Everyone thinks I’m Lavagirl. I wasn’t Lavagirl, it was my children only watch Shark Boy and Lava Girl‘ said Alexa. “They do not like it spy kids.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ben Affleck confessed to his best friend Matt Damon that his kids don’t see any of his films, except Armageddon. “It’s funny because it’s the only film of mine my kids have seen and they’ll kind of all admit they like it even though they relentlessly mock him and me. ‘What are you, driving a tank on the moon?’ But they had fun, you know what I mean, they won’t even watch The town. So there you have it.”

Speaking of Matt Damon, he shared CBS Sunday morning that his teenage daughter likes to keep him humble. “You know, my 15-year-old refuses to see it [Good Will Hunting]’ Matt said. “She doesn’t want to see movies that I’m in that she thinks could be good.”

At an interview for jungle cruise on live with kelly and ryan Emily Blunt opened up about how her daughters were looking forward to one of her films for the first time. “Interestingly, that was the only trailer they watched multiple times – they’re not usually interested in seeing me on screen – they’re really into it jungle cruise.”
