Tudum, Netflix’s fall global fan event celebrating its original content, returns Saturday with a bevy of special moments, trailers, and (hopefully) dreamy announcements. But of course, Tudum could cover with all the shows and movies the service offers or distributes in any given month a lot of of things. In anticipation of the livestream event, let’s take a look at what to expect and what to see Hope will appear later in the day.

As with any Tudum band event, a number of projects will be featured that will come over the next few weeks or months. Examples are the Addams family–inspired series Wednesday and The School of Good and Evil. The former isn’t scheduled for release just yet, but is set to debut this year. It stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, who starts life at a new, unconventional school. It also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as Morticia and Gomez Addams and – in a small stunt casting – Christina Ricci (who starred in Wednesday’s Addams family movies) as a possible nemesis.
Speaking of fancy school settings, October 20th is the release date for The School of Good and Evil, a feature film based on the novel series of the same name. Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie play the lead roles, Sophie and Agatha, respectively. Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron, Laurence Fishburne and Ben Kingsley also make appearances. The film debuted with a trailer during Netflix Geeked Week over the summer and looks like an interesting fantasy. Another upcoming project to be presented at Tudum is the fantasy film slumberlandwith Jason Momoa.

Also on the horizon and expected to be a contributor to Tudum Emily in Paris which happened to be releasing a series of preview images on Thursday to promote the upcoming third season – the second season of shadow and boneand eagerly awaited knife out Consequence Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The exact nature of what each will present is of course unknown, but only with glass onion If you have a release date, it’s possible that the others will indicate that if they will stream. However, it’s likely that both will be part of Netflix’s 2023 schedule.
Thanks to some idiosyncratic planning, three sequels to the film are on the way: Enola Holmes 2, The Old Guard 2, extraction 2. The first is due out on November 4th, so a new trailer is a reasonable expectation. The other two sequels are a little harder to predict as they will likely debut in 2023. But considering action movies at Geeked Week revolved around behind-the-scenes featurettes, we’re going to guess The Old Guard 2 and extraction 2 will do something similar and maybe focus on the stunts. It’s also possible that they’ll get new titles, but it’s easy to imagine that both work with the simple numbering format.

The list of featured projects also includes The Witcher: Origin of the Blood. That witcher The limited series has been in the works for some time – referenced to previous events including WitcherCon 2021 – but a release window could finally be announced nearing completion. The program will detail the story of the convergence that brought the worlds of humans, elves, and monsters together. Michelle Yeoh, Sophia Brown and Jacob Collins-Levy star.
Additionally, The crown He is expected to be present at the event, although it’s unclear what kind of news can be shared as production was halted following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Other items on the list include a look at the Netflix adaptation of 3 body problems, 1899the spy film by Gal Gadot heart of stoneReese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher your place or mineand Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro. The day will also focus on the service’s international content, with programs such as lupine, Money Heist: Korea – Common Economic Space, triada, Love is blind: Brazil, Alice in the Borderlandand Belascoaran.
We know it too The Umbrella Academy is presented in a certain way. Past performances by the cast have included weird trivia games and various goofs that became the Hargreaves kids, so it’s possible that instead of a big announcement of Season 4 – their final season – we might have a blooper role or a dance-off get video.
We hope for news The Sandman‘s Future and Anything on The Witcher
Let’s get down to business, we Hope some clarity The Sandman‘s future will happen during Tudum. The program is very special, and as we’ve mentioned elsewhere, we want subsequent storylines in the comic series to be adapted with the same care and attention as those in the first season of the TV series. All in all, our hopes of an announcement being made are dampened as co-creator Neil Gaiman recently told fans that the “data collection” portion of Netflix’s analysis has only just been completed. It may be some time before we know if the show has a future. But we can still dream, right?
However, it is on firmer ground The Witcher. It’s easy to hope that Henry Cavill flashes his smile, switches into character, grunts, and suggests a window for the show’s return into its third season — and maybe even hints at its long-term future.
stranger thingsMeanwhile, he has a more secure future: he ends with his next season. However, this conclusion will have to wait for a while. The program will be shown in some way during Tudum and we’d love to see some of the cast perform dungeons again with B. Dave Walters. That was a highlight of last Geeked Week. But maybe some of the cast will give us a hint as to when production on the final season will start.
Other programs on the Netflix list that we will be happy to include Bridgeton and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story — Casts of both are expected to appear — Squid Game, Youand Vikings: Valhalla. And then there are things like The Observer – not to be confused The Witcher — dead to me, heart stopperand Outer Banks all planned to contribute.
Like Geeked Week and other online convention-style presentations, Tudum is a crowd and we’ll be up bright and early when it all kicks off at 10am PT on September 24th.
