New Fortnite Map | Changes, sights and sights in season 4

Now that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is underway, the map has received a fresh coat of paint and many new changes have been made. You will find new landmarks and sights to explore.

Fortnite Season 4’s new map is covered in Chrome, a mysterious new substance that enables new Splatoon-style gameplay. Of course, this new substance changed the map we know and love. Why Chrome you ask? After all, in the future everything is chrome.

Fortnite Season 4 map changes revealed

Epic Games is yet to give an official top-down look at the Fortnite Season 4 map, but fan-made images like the one below should come in handy when trying to locate one of the new landmarks:

As mentioned above, Chrome has landed in Fortnite and invaded the Chapter 3 Season 4 map. This changed some areas of the game and added new gameplay features reminiscent of Nintendo’s Splatoon series.

Along with the new Chrome skills, new points of interest have appeared, as well as new landmarks. These include Herald’s Sanctum, Cloudy Condos, and the brand new Ele-Vault landmarks, among others. Fortnite Season 4 Map: Landmarks and Points of Interest

There are many new points of interest and landmarks to discover on the new Fortnite Chapter 4 map, which we have listed for you below.

Cloudy Condos

Do you remember Condo Canyon? It’s no longer a canyon, as its condos have been lifted into the air by some powerful balloons and jet engines. You can reach the now-floating buildings in Cloudy Condos by either building towards them or using the nearby D-Launchers to launch towards them.

Sanctuary of the Herald

Herald’s Sanctum is an entirely new point of interest on the map. This brand new location (which you can see in the video above) is the headquarters of the villain from Season 4: The Herald. It’s all pretty mysterious.

Fort Jonesy

Keeping up with the Joneses comes naturally with new Fortnite seasons. This time the Joneses have upgraded to a fortress thanks to the Chrome invasion, so expect this place to be a little different.

Shining Lagoon

The Lazy Lagoon has been changed to Lustrous Lagoon, the ship that was there is now floating in the air and is a new landmark: The Driftwood, and the Lagoon itself? You guessed it, Chrome.

Shimmering Shrine

Shimmering Shrine has replaced Shuffled Shrines and is now all shiny and chrome, as expected with all the other changes. Check it out for sure.

reality tree

Reality Falls has since been updated to become Reality Tree. The tree itself is dying and you will find that autumn has made its way onto the Fortnite map.

Ele Vault

You’ll find new Ele Vaults scattered across the map. These will show up to you as you find keys that appear in chests and as items that you can find on the ground. One key opens the low security safes and two open the high security safes. The better the vault, the better the loot.

Along with all of the above, you should discover other new landmarks including the Chrome Monument (a replacement for Mighty Monument), The Flairship (an airship that hovers over Rave Cave), Last Legs (a new greenhouse with a hidden basement that you can be found in the center of the map) and finally a floating building called No Sweat Insurance, located above Tilted Towers.
