quarterbacks
Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
against K.C | 38% | $1 |
The waiver wire is starting to get thin as byes roll in, so keep your expectations low for this week’s streaming options at the quarterback.
Garoppolo has been his usual solid but unspectacular self, with three weekly top-14 fantasy finishes in his five appearances this season.
Next up is a Chiefs defense, which was one of the top three easiest matchups for fantasy QBs in 2022. They’ve allowed multiple touchdown passes to every team they’ve faced this campaign.
Garoppolo won’t win you the week, but he won’t lose it for you either.
Tua Tagovailoa and Jared Goff Are just over the 50% mark in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.
Risky streaming options: Daniel Jones at JAX (30% list), Marcus Mariota at CIN (14% list), Ryan Tannehill vs. IND (17% list), Matt Ryan at TEN (28% list)
Risky streaming options (if error-free): Jameis Winston/Andy Dalton at ARI (28%/2% roster), Kenny Pickett at MIA (15% roster)
Dart throw streaming options: Zach Wilson at DEN (15% list), Justin Fields at NE (38% list), Taylor Heinicke vs. GB (0% list), Mitch Trubisky at MIA (2% list), Davis Mills at LV (4% list ). ), Jacoby Brissett at BAL (8% roster)

Dart throw streaming options (when launcher is off): Bailey Zappe vs. CHI (2% in squad)
Long-term storage: Desmond Ridder (1% Squad), Sam Howell vs GB (0% Squad), Sam Darnold (1% Squad)
run back
Latavius Murray, Broncos
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
against NYJ | 14% | $19 |
It wasn’t long before Murray was climbing the depth chart in Denver.
In his first game action as a member of the Broncos, Murray opened the contest behind Melvin Gordon but eventually passed him and handled all the carries in the second half. Recently acquired Murray finished the tournament with 16 touches against Gordon’s three and Mike Boone’s two.
While this was a changing of the guard in Denver’s backfield, it’s important to remember that the offense still has issues.
Murray is listed as an RB3/Flex for Week 7 – the Broncos’ highest back – just keep your expectations in check for the 32-year-old until this offense finds its way.
Rachaad White, privateer
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
at CAR | 34% | $14 |
There weren’t any major running back injuries this week, so don’t expect to find many instant starters like we had in last week’s column with Kenneth Walker, Eno Benjamin and ultimately Deon Jackson.
Instead, we turn our attention to the backups with Elite on top should injury hit their depth chart.
White’s playing time and production are limited by Leonard Fournette doing most of the work in Tampa. But if the 27-year-old is injured by the end of the season, white immediately becomes a top 15 fantasy option.
D’Onta Foreman, Panthers
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
against tuberculosis | 5% | $7 |
With running back selection limited this week, it’s important to think about stashing some of the backs who could increase their odds if the starter on their team is dealt before the Nov. 1 NFL close.
Foreman is the clear beneficiary if Christian McCaffrey’s move to the Panthers rumors are true. In Week 6, Foreman overtook fellow competitor Chuba Hubbard (4% of the list).
While both players would see more touches if McCaffrey was on a different roster, Foreman has proven he can step in for a star back. He threw three 100-yard games and scored three touchdowns while standing in for the injured Derrick Henry in the last six games of last season.
However, Foreman’s fantasy ceiling would be in the RB3/Flex range overall due to Hubbard’s involvement and the Panthers’ struggles on offense.
Nyheim Hines and Alexander Mattson Are just over the 50% mark in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.
High upside backups like Isiah Pacheco (21% roster) and Jaylen Warren (11% in squad) Should be in the squad in most leagues.
Flex Options: Tyler Allgeier at CIN (49% roster)
Flex options (when healthy and when the starter is off): Deon Jackson at TEN (43% roster)
Risky Flex Options: Kenyan Drake vs. CLE (4% of participants), Jerick McKinnon at SF (11% of participants), Mark Ingram at ARI (23% of participants), JD McKissic vs. GB (26% of participants), Dontrell Hilliard vs .IND (12% roster)
Risky flex options (if healthy): Joshua Kelley vs. SEA (17% list), Gus Edwards/Justice Hill vs. CLE (15%/1% list), Damien Williams at CIN (4% list)
Dart Throw Flex Options: Caleb Huntley at CIN (7% of roster), Mike Boone vs. NYJ (40% of roster), Samaje Perine vs. ATL (7% of roster), Rex Burkhead at LV (12% of roster), Tevin Coleman vs. KC (16% roster), DeeJay Dallas in LAC (17% roster)
Dart throw flex option (when launcher is off): Phillip Lindsay at TEN (12% roster)
Other fuses to consider: Matt Breida at JAX (1% roster), Ty Davis-Price vs. KC (3% roster)
Bye Week Hides: Kyren Williams (8% in squad), James Cook (27% in squad), Kenneth Gainwell (23% in squad),
Long Shot Hides: Zamir White (3% squad), Hassan Haskins (0% squad)
wide receiver
Wan’Dale Robinson, Giants
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
at JAX | 8th% | $14 |
Robinson returned to the lineup this week, scoring an impressive four goals despite playing just 23% of the Giants’ snaps and running just 11 routes.
The result was an afternoon of three catches, 37 yards and a touchdown in which he flashed some of the talent that made him a second-round pick in April.
After letting him back in, rest assured that Brian Daboll has plans to extend the rookie’s playing time in the future. Given the state of New York’s battered receiving corps, we could see Robinson becoming the team’s leading receiver for the rest of the way.
It’s enough to make him a WR4/Flex now and a must see if he proves to be the Giants’ top wideout.
Alec Pierce, Colts
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
ten | 38% | $12 |
Pierce returns to the waiver wire after adding a 3-49-1 performance to his Week 6 resume.
You can attach that to his recent stat lines of 3-61-0, 4-80-0, and 8-81-0 over the past month. Pierce has at least five goals in each of his last four competitions.
He still plays behind Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell, but Pierce’s playmaking and catching skills are undeniable.
The Rookie can be used as a fantasy WR3/Flex option during bye weeks and maybe beyond.
Rondale Moore/Robbie Anderson, Cardinals
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
against tuberculosis | 46%/11% | $9/$7 |
Marquise Brown received good news when his foot injury was revealed to be a non-surgical fracture with a six-week recovery time and not the end of the season as some had suggested.
DeAndre Hopkins, returning from suspension this week, and Anderson’s arrival after a trading Monday will mitigate Brown’s absence.
Hopkins should quickly reassert himself as an alpha pass catcher in Arizona, but second place will be up for grabs between Moore and Anderson.
Each player will see plenty of snaps, with Anderson queuing outside across from Hopkins and Moore occupying the slot. Both have the opportunity to post Fantasy WR4/Flex numbers until Brown is sane.
Michael Gallup is just over the 50% mark in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.
Flex Options: Nico Collins at LV (20% roster)
Risky Flex Options: Tyquan Thornton vs. CHI (1% roster), Chase Claypool at MIA (41% roster), Mecole Hardman at SF (21% roster), Donovan Peoples-Jones at BAL (15% roster), Marquez Valdes-Scantling at SF ( 42% of roster), Zay Jones vs. NYG (20% of roster), Corey Davis at DEN (40% of roster)
Risky flex options (if healthy): Jahan Dotson vs GB (36% of players), DJ Chark at DAL (25% of players)
Dart Throw Flex Options: DeVante Parker vs. CHI (23% list), Josh Reynolds at DAL (32% list), Parris Campbell at TEN (2% list), Olamide Zaccheaus at CIN (1% list), Tre’Quan Smith at ARI (0% roster), Josh Palmer vs. SEA (26% roster), Russell Gage at CAR (13% roster), Marquez Callaway at ARI (2% roster)
Dart throw flex options (when healthy): Christian Watson at WAS (5% roster)
Bye Week Hides: Van Jefferson (5% in squad), KJ Osborn (6% in squad), Khalil Shakir (3% in squad)
Long term rookie hideouts: Skyy Moore at SF (10% roster)
Long Shot Hides: Kadarius Toney vs. BAL (18% squad)
Injured Reserve Hides: Jameson Williams (32% list), Treylon Burks (21% list), Odell Beckham Jr. (16% list)
tight ends
Cade Otton, privateer
next up | listed | Fabulous |
---|---|---|
at CAR | 6% | $3 |
Cameron Brate was fortunate to have X-rays come back negative after injuring his neck and being taken off the field on a backboard. However, with a concussion in Week 4 and the neck injury in Week 6, the Bucs will likely play it safe and keep him on the sidelines for a while to recover.
Meanwhile, Otton’s role has grown in recent weeks, highlighted by his launch while Brate was out. He played 94% of the Bucs’ snaps during that game and caught six balls for 43 yards. It’s an excellent use for any tight end, but especially notable for a beginner.
With very few high value fantasy options on the position, Otton is an intriguing addition that could flirt with top 12 production while Brate is out.
Robert Tonian is around 50% of the players in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.
Streamer Options: Evan Engram vs. NYG (37% of roster), Hunter Henry vs. CHI (36% of roster), Greg Dulcich vs. NYJ (1% of roster)
Risky Streamer Options: Mike Gesicki vs. PIT (24% roster), Daniel Bellinger at JAX (2% roster)
Dart Throw Streamer Options: Noah Fant at LAC (11% roster), Juwan Johnson at ARI (1% roster), Cole Kmet at NE (31% roster)
Dart throw streamer options (if error free): Logan Thomas vs GB (9% in squad)
Dart Throw Streamer Options (when healthy and launcher is off): Foster Moreau vs. HOU (0% list)
Long term rookie hideouts: Isaiah Likely (2% List)
