I suppose the amazing DAC and audio quality of the original IQOO3 will never return?

The same goes for any new (online only) brand. When they launch a new product, they give it the best of audio and other small excellences. Later you will never get the actual 2nd generation product of the same brand.
Wow, IQOO 11 does 4K at 30 fps, amazing… I’ve never seen a top ender do 4K30… (sarcasm)

You can find another example at Oneplus. What they were and what they have become.

Finn, October 31, 2022This obsession with charging at 100+W is just insane, even 25W is more than enough for most users The only obsession here is people like you telling people what they should and shouldn’t have.

WOW, this phone is a beast!

Who cares? Tired of that predictable crap from every phone company every year. Give me something new, something innovative

Feem, 31 Oct 2022I have this idea that while the loading speeds are a bit of a concern, I think it’s actually… moreYou will need to buy another charger rated “lower” than the phone can endure.

C

Honestly, smartphones are getting pretty predictable at this point. And it doesn’t help that the Oppo, iQoo, Realme, Vivo, and OnePlus are all under the same roof. At least the market isn’t stagnant.

R

If they don’t get rid of that boring Funtouch junk and ship their devices with the exquisite originating Ocean, iqoo will never attract the attention of any significant number of customers. The regional downgrading of their products is just pathetic.

I have this idea that while the load speeds are a bit of a concern, I think it’s actually a good thing that the load speeds are increasing.
Let’s say I have a Xiaomi that can charge at a max speed of 120W versus a phone that maxes out at 67W. You can easily charge the Xiaomi at 67W “reliably”, while the 67W phone lets you charge up to ~30W reliably.
Basically, my idea is that if people are really worried about the charging speed ruining their phone, it’s actually a good thing that the charging speed is going faster because they can reliably use a different charging speed without impacting the battery. The higher the maximum loading speed, the higher the “reliable” loading speed. “Reliable” means that the phone’s battery will not be affected.
I know it’s heat that kills batteries, but if people are still concerned, here’s my take on it.

Anonymous, Oct 31, 2022Further correction: 25W is enough for all batteries. If you keep going, the batteries will die fast… moreAgain with this myth? Grow up

Anonymous, Oct 31, 2022Correction: more than enough for “me”
Further correction: 25W is enough for all batteries. If you keep going, batteries will only be destroyed faster than ever

Anonymous, Oct 31, 2022Big numbers for marketing purposes only :/ The heat will kill the battery very quicklyIt’s a balance with the new cooling systems we have now and you only use fast charging when you need it…

Why do they launch a phone with a camera sensor less than 1 inch every day? And who buys this overprocessed photo with small sensors? 😒

O

Finally a truly PWM frequency!
Kudos to Iqoo. hopefully more manufacturers will go in this direction.
