Steve Jobs’ daughter Eve has gently mocked Apple’s release of her new, much-anticipated iPhone 14 with an internet meme.
Eve, 23, reacted to Wednesday’s announcement by throwing some shade at the company’s latest release.
Along with a photo of a middle-aged man buying the exact same shirt he was wearing, the Stanford grad, who is Jobs’ youngest child, reposted a meme from the WallStBets account: “I step after Apple’s iPhone 13 on iPhone 14 at announcement today.’

“Bro they just keep posting the same thing over and over,” wrote one commenter.
“Apple re-released the same phone with hardly any minor improvements?” another inquired about the meaning of the meme.
“It’s not the same as it continues to cost you more money,” explained another.

Earlier on Wednesday, Apple revealed more details about the iPhone 14, which will have satellite connectivity, allowing users to send satellite SOS messages if they encounter a no-service emergency.
The service will launch in November, two months after the new smartphone launches on September 16th.
The phone marked the conclusion of Apple CEO Tim Cook’s annual product event, which also featured the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra, designed specifically for “extreme athletes.”

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which have a 6.7-inch screen, come in five colors: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Red.
The iPhone 14 starts at $1399 and will go up to $1,899, which is a lot less than rumors had predicted.
Pre-orders begin September 9th. iPhone 14 will be available on September 16th and iPhone 14 Plus on October 7th.
Rumors of a partnership between the tech giant and a satellite internet company surfaced earlier this month, but on Wednesday those speculations became reality.
“As satellites move quickly through space, iPhone shows you where to point to stay connected — and avoid obstacles like mountains and thick foliage,” Apple said on its website.
The company says on its website that once iPhone connects to a satellite, it will automatically send a message, your location, medical ID (if set up), and the amount of battery capacity left on your device to the nearest 911 dispatcher.
The iPhone 14 family connects directly to a satellite by showing you where to point your smartphone, so you can then send a “custom short text” created by an algorithm that translates the emergency message in just 15 seconds

The tech giant said the smartphone has an “amazing new camera system” with an upgraded 12-megapixel main camera that has a larger sensor than the smartphone’s predecessor.
The smartphones feature a sleek aerospace-grade aluminum design in five finishes, as well as updated internal designs for better thermal performance, and the pair features a ceramic shield on the front that protects the internals from splashes, water, and dust.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said in a statement: “Both phones feature a powerful new main camera with a huge leap in low-light performance, advanced connectivity features with 5G and eSIM, and the incredible performance of A15 Bionic , which contributes to an even better battery life. All of this, tightly integrated with iOS 16, makes the iPhone more important than ever.”
The camera also has a 49 percent improvement in low-light shooting and a new TrueDepth for the front-facing camera that automatically focuses on objects and people within the frame, along with the ultra-wide camera that has more of the scene captured.

The new iPhone 14 family includes a software feature called “Photonic Engine” that captures better detail and color in low light conditions.
“By deeply integrating hardware and software, the Photonic Engine improves medium to low light performance for photos across all cameras: up to 2x on the Ultra Wide camera, 2x on the TrueDepth camera and an impressive 2.5x on the new main camera,” Apple announced.
“Photonic Engine enables this dramatic increase in quality by harnessing the computational advantages of Deep Fusion earlier in the imaging process to deliver exceptional detail and preserve subtle textures, provide better colors, and retain more information in a photo.”
The video system also received an upgrade with “Action” mode, which keeps the video footage stable even when there is shake.
Apple enthusiasts also saw the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Max, which uses even more of the front screen by displaying information on the notch and the TrueDepth camera is much smaller.

The iPhone 14 Pro’s camera is 65 percent larger than that of the iPhone 13 Pro and has sensors that allow it to shoot twice as well as its predecessor in low-light conditions
These smartphones feature the company’s new A16 chip, which is faster than the A15 chip but consumes less battery power.

According to CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Max are the best smartphones Apple has ever made.
