GH flashback: Ava sends Esme over the parapet

The GH spoiler summary for Monday 1st August 2022 sees Ava Jerome and Esme Prince in a fight to the end – possibly for real.

GH spoilers summarize the highlights

All Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) had to do was point out how Ava (Maura West) avoided Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) after she slept with Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), saying Ava’s actions made sense led to Kiki’s death, and that was it. Ava slapped Esme square in the face and then walked on the floor after the envelope while Esme wasn’t looking. She had to know what it said when Esme thought about writing her nanny again. Esme didn’t want Ava to read this letter, so a catfight ensued as the two fought for control of some paper.

Over in the courthouse, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) told Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) that things would have been different if he had only known that Spencer had suspected Esme of conning Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) all along . Does that mean he wouldn’t have slept with Esme? Hmmm… Nikolas even went to tell Spencer he slept with his girlfriend, but got a call about the Wyndemere riot.

When Nikolas got home he heard noises coming from the parapet and ran out just in time to see Esme fly off – as they do in Wyndemere – and Ava look over the edge in shock.

Back at the trial, Trina spoke out in her own defense, having to admit that she loved Spencer to explain why she had never mentioned him as her alibi before.

General Hospital Recap: Willow receives terrible news

When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) sat down with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and told him all about the fact that he and Willow will soon be parents again, Sam wondered why Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) never told her that. She then brooded over being too busy and needing help with the PI work, just as Mac Scorpio (John J. York) suggested to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) that she should work for Sam.

Meanwhile, Willow told TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) that she didn’t want to bother poor, put-up Michael with bad news about her health if it turned out to be nothing. Later, when she saw TJ talking to an oncologist, she asked him to be honest with her and TJ told Willow that he thinks she has leukemia.

GH Spoiler recap: Shocking explanations

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) finally returned to her first official day at work and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) finally blurted out that he was in love with her. When Liz kept looking away, she looked like she was going to be sick. She was then relieved when she received a text message to help TJ with Willow’s lab work.

Just a few minutes later, Liz saw Finn again and confessed that she loved him too. She then went into the stairwell and suddenly flashed back at Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who lay seemingly dead at the bottom of the stairs. This shocked Liz so much that she dropped all the papers she was holding.
