A woman has come forward to file a lawsuit against Hollywood legend Warren Beatty, accusing the actor of grooming her when she was just 14 and forcing her to have sex.
Kristina Charlotte Hirsch filed the lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a 2019 California law that gave child sexual abuse victims a three-year “hindsight window” to sue their abusers regardless of the statute of limitations. The window expires on December 31st.
The lawsuit does not name Beatty, instead identifying it as the accused Doe, but the abuser is said to have portrayed Clyde in it Bonnie and Clydea role that earned Beatty a Best Actor nomination at the Academy Awards.
So far there has been no public comment on the lawsuit from Beatty, 85, or his attorney.

Hirsch, then 14, claims Beatty, then 35, met her on a movie set he was filming and gave her “undue attention”.
The defendant “repeatedly commented on her appearance, gave her his phone number, and directed her to call him,” according to the lawsuit.
Hirsch was initially “thrilled by the attention” of a Hollywood actor and, according to the lawsuit, accepted Beatty’s invitation to visit his hotel room — an invitation Betty would keep repeating.

“Throughout 1973, Defendant Doe called Plaintiff on numerous occasions and invited the teenager to the hotel where he was staying to spend time with him,” the complaint reads.
The lawsuit goes on to say that Beatty took Hirsch on car trips, offered to help her with her homework, and on several occasions “spoke to the plaintiff about losing her virginity.”
Over the course of their relationship, the lawsuit alleges that Beatty used his position “as an adult and a Hollywood movie star” to force her to have sex with him. The sexual abuse occurred on numerous occasions through late 1973 and included oral sex, simulated sex, and “eventually forced intercourse with the minor child,” according to the lawsuit.

Hirsch is suing Beatty for sexual molestation, sexual assault, and molestation of a child, and is seeking damages for emotional, physical, and psychological distress.
The lawsuit states Hirsch was the victim of “predatory grooming” and “believed she was involved in a romantic relationship with a movie star.”
After the childhood sexual abuse, Hirsch finds it difficult to interact with people, particularly those in positions of authority, as she struggles with “trust and control,” the lawsuit says.
Hirsch has filed for a trial by jury, asking for legal fees in addition to damages. She is represented by Jeff Anderson & Associates, a firm that has handled child abuse cases against the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America.
