Tom Brady and Gisele Living Separately While Dealing With Marital Trouble: Report

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen just taking a break from “living apart” between “marital problems” CNN reported on Wednesday (September 15), citing two unnamed sources. The legendary quarterback, 45, who married the legendary supermodel, 42, in 2009, fueled speculation about troubles in their relationship after taking a brief leave of absence to attend to “personal issues” during this year’s training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While Tom hasn’t addressed his preseason absence, he did take note on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast how his decades of tenure as a professional athlete has impacted his personal life let’s go. “I haven’t had Christmas in 23 years, and I haven’t had Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people I care about who were born between August and late January. And I can’t be at funerals and I can’t be at weddings,” Tom explained. “I think there comes a point in your life where you’re like, ‘You know what? I felt full and it’s enough and time to move on, to move on to other areas of life.’”

Adding to the rumor mill, Gisele – who shares the son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with Tom – recently said she has “concerns” about Tom returning to play in the NFL after briefly retiring in the spring. “This is a very violent sport and I have my kids and I want it to be more present,” she told Elle magazine earlier this week. “I definitely kept having those conversations with him. But ultimately I think everyone has to make a decision that works [them]. He must also follow his joy.”

However, the interview was conducted ahead of Tom’s preseason leave of absence, and Gisele “declined to comment on the rumors of an alleged breakup” when Elle reached out in September. However, things seemed to be fine between the pair as she opened up during the first interview.

“I’ve done my part, that is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston and focused on creating a cocoon and loving environment for my children to grow up in and support him and his dreams,” she said. “To see my kids succeed and grow into the beautiful little people they are, see him succeed and be fulfilled in his career – that makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job at it.”

The report comes after a source was ONLY shared HollywoodLife that Gisele is getting used to Tom’s “retirement” as best she can, but it wasn’t “easy” for her. “Gisele did her best to get used to it Tomhis decision to go back [to the NFL] but it wasn’t easy for her because it wasn’t their agreement,” the insider explained. “She’s a very supportive wife, but she also speaks her truth, so there’s been a lot of tension since he came back. She needed some time to herself and Tom respect that.”

In March, Tom re-signed with the Buccaneers after a brief “retirement” from the sport. The 7-time Super Bowl champion took to Twitter to reveal what led to his change of heart. “In the last two months it has become clear to me that my place is still on the field and not in the stands.
