Matt Ryan, Colts

next up listed Fabulous
at JAX 43% $1

In his first game with the Colts, Ryan threw for 352 yards and got a score with some help from a full overtime. It was still a solid performance, and his connection to Michael Pittman is evident.

Next is a Jaguars defense that gave up 313 yards and four touchdowns to Carson Wentz and the Commanders in Week 1. If Ryan is truly an upgrade from Wentz at Indianapolis, he should have no problem running big stats on his new division rival.

If you are looking for a replacement for Dak Prescott, Ryan is the first port of call.

Carson Wentz, Commanders

next up listed Fabulous
at DET 13% $1

If Ryan is already on the list, you might focus on the man he replaced at Indy.

It’s not just because of Wentz’s big Week 1 stat line. The situation in Washington is full of fantasy potential thanks to the presence of an underrated offensive line, star wideout Terry McLaurin, first-round rookie Jahan Dotson, a rejuvenated Antonio Gibson, passing specialist JD McKissic as well versatile master-at-arms Curtis Samuel and tight end Logan Thomas, who are finally sane and joining the Commanders’ assault.

Before the end of Monday Night Football, Wentz has the third most fantasy points among quarterbacks in Week 1. He has a chance to pull off a second straight top-10 performance against a Lions roster that allowed the Eagles’ offense to move the ball with ease on Sunday.

Risky streaming options: Jameis Winston vs. TB (46% of roster), Jared Goff vs. WAS (21% of roster), Baker Mayfield at NYG (18% of roster)

Dart throw streaming options: Daniel Jones vs. CAR (25% list), Marcus Mariota at LAR (9% list), Davis Mills at DEN (6% list), Mitch Trubisky vs. NE (7% list)

2QB/Superflex considerations only: Jacoby Brissett vs. NYJ (2% list), Joe Flacco at CLE (1% list), Geno Smith at SF (3% list), Cooper Rush vs. CIN (0% list)

Long-term storage: Zach Wilson (5% in roster), Kenny Pickett (5% in roster)

Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers

next up listed Fabulous
against SEA 16% $24

Kyle Shanahan’s love of fast 200-pound running backs has led to some incredible fantasy games starring the likes of Raheem Mostert, Matt Breida and Elijah Mitchell. Unfortunately, none of them have been able to remain healthy long after receiving a greater workload.

After missing six games last season, Mitchell suffered an opener MCL injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the next two months.

Next man is Wilson, who had re-established himself as San Francisco’s No. 2 by the end of the summer and was handling all the backfield snaps when Mitchell left this week’s game.

If this offense can find its rhythm away from the monsoon-like conditions it struggled in Chicago, Wilson could have top-25 fantasy stats as the team’s starter.

Mitchell’s absence also means that rookies Tyrion Davis-Price (3% on the roster) and Jordan Mason (1% on the roster) could be just one injury away from a starring role. Mason has been active via Davis-Price this week, but it’s unclear if that’s because he’s ahead on the depth chart or because of the former’s special team value. If you’re deciding between them, Davis-Price would be my stock over Mason – but both should be added to the list now.

Jaylen Warren, Steelers

next up listed Fabulous
against NE 4% $5

Warren is the other notable injury this week after Najee Harris was forced out of Sunday’s game with a foot problem.

The injury is not believed to be serious and the Steelers are hoping Harris can play in Week 2, a source said Jordan Schultz, NFL Insider from theScore. However, his practice attendance will need to be monitored throughout the week until we know for sure if he’s ready to face the Patriots.

Either way, Warren needs to be picked up as he’s the immediate backup in Pittsburgh. The undrafted free agent beat veterans Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland Jr. to secure the role and was the only other defender to see touches in this week’s competition.

If Warren gets a start, he’d be an RB3 flex option in the fantasy, with his advantage limited by the Steelers’ weak offensive line. Pittsburgh blockers didn’t do their backs any favors on Sunday as both Harris and Warren averaged an embarrassing 2.3 yards per carry against the Bengals.

Khalil Herbert, Kenneth Gainwell, Jamal Williams, and brian robinson are near or over the 50% mark in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.

High upside backups like Rachaad Weiss (38% roster) and Isiah Pacheco (31% in squad) Should be in the squad in most leagues.

Risky Flex Options: Kenyan Drake vs. MIA (12% of players), Rex Burkhead at DEN (13% of players), Eno Benjamin at LV (8% of players), JD McKissic at DET (28% of players)

Dart Throw Flex Options: Zack Moss vs TEN (6% list), Dontrell Hilliard at BUF (7% list), Boston Scott vs MIN (5% list), Brandon Bolden vs ARI (0% list)

Other fuses to consider: Mark Ingram vs. TB (27% roster), Tyler Allgeier at LAR (21% roster), Samaje Perine at DAL (7% roster), Matt Breida vs. CAR (1% roster), Josh Kelley at KC (1% roster ). ), Sony Michel at KC (9% list), D’Onta Foreman at NYG (9% list), Zamir White vs. ARI (14% list)

wide receiver

Jahan Dotson, commanders

next up listed Fabulous
at DET 23% $7

Welcome back Mr. Dotson.

For the second straight week, the Commanders’ rookie wideout is making headlines in our receiver section – only this time it’s coming off a 40-yard debut with two touchdowns.

It’s still baffling how a player with first-round draft capital and a ton of positive training camp and preseason buzz could be so underappreciated by the fantasy community, but it seems like that’s becoming more of an issue during the waiver run in corrected this week.

Treat Dotson as a WR3/Flex moving forward.

Robbie Anderson, Panthers

next up listed Fabulous
at NYG 23% $3

Anderson surprisingly led the Panthers during their narrow loss to the Browns en route to a 5-102-1 stat line with a 75-yard score.

Although DJ Moore usually has the largest percentage of goals in most games, it still boded well that Anderson had something to offer this offense. He’s currently the WR10 with just two teams left to play, giving him a strong shot at earning WR1 Fantasy honors this week.

With depth at the receiver, you shouldn’t overdo bidding on him, but Anderson is worth adding to see if he can sustain that hot start.

Josh Palmer/DeAndre Carter, Chargers

next up listed Fabulous
at KC 21%/1% $3/$1

As we await MRI results of Keenan Allen’s hamstring, fantasy executives must prepare for the veteran to miss Thursday’s game against the Chiefs and maybe longer.

If he’s on a long-term hiatus, Palmer would do most of the exterior work opposite Mike Williams while Carter does some of the slot work.

It was Carter who paced the receiving corps after Allen left, leading to a performance with four catches, 64 yards and a touchdown. He’s a fast weapon that adds another wrinkle to offense.

Palmer is the more interesting option as a versatile third-round pick who flashed during his rookie campaign last season when he got the chance.

Arranging passcatchers tied to Justin Herbert is a smart move for fantasy managers most weeks and if Allen holds out, Palmer could sneak into the WR3 talk while Carter offers flexible value.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Tyler Boyd, Isaiah McKenzie, Treylon Burks, and Russell Gage are near or over the 50% mark in the roster but should be in the roster in most leagues.

Risky Flex Options: Jarvis Landry vs. TB (42% roster), Jakobi Meyers at PIT (38% roster), Curtis Samuel at DET (5% roster), DJ Chark vs. WAS (40% roster), Donovan Peoples-Jones vs. NYJ ( 4% reported)

Risky flex options (if healthy): Rondale Moore at LV (25% roster)

Dart Throw Flex Options: Kyle Philips at BUF (1% list), Sterling Shepard vs CAR (1% list), Corey Davis at CLE (6% list), Romeo Doubs vs CHI (34% list), Devin Duvernay vs MIA (31% list) roster)

Long term rookie hideouts: Garrett Wilson at CLE (21% list), Christian Watson vs. CHI (11% list), Skyy Moore vs. LAC (38% list), Alec Pierce at JAX (8% list)

Other recipients to consider: Nico Collins at DEN (33% list), Marvin Jones vs. IND (7% list), Zay Jones vs. IND (12% list), KJ Osborn at PHI (10% list), Parris Campbell at JAX (6% list ). ), Mecole Hardman vs. LAC (30% roster), KJ Hamler vs. HOU (5% roster), Greg Dortch at LV (0% roster), Olamide Zaccheaus at LAR (0% roster)

Injury Coverage: Jameson Williams (24% list), Michael Gallup (39% list), Tyquan Thornton (1% list), Odell Beckham Jr. (9% list)

tight ends

Gerald Everett, Chargers

next up listed Fabulous
at KC 27% $3

We return to the Chargers’ passing attack for our top tight-end pickup of the week.

Everett has the fourth-highest fantasy scores among tight ends (pending MNF) so far this week, and its underlying metrics give hope that this type of production could continue.

Everett, 28, is a potential dream TE1 regardless of Allen being available Thursday. If you’ve lost George Kittle or are disappointed with the late-round tight end you designed, get Everett right away.

Risky Streamer Options: Robert Tonyan vs. CHI (23% of players), Logan Thomas at DET (6% of players)

Dart Throw Streamer Options: Hayden Hurst at DAL (10% of lists), Evan Engram vs. IND (25% of lists), Tyler Conklin at CLE (2% of lists), Juwan Johnson vs. TB (0% of lists), Taysom Hill vs. TB (10% roster), Cameron Brate at NO (9% roster)
