Assassin’s Creed has always been a game of style, mystery, and adventure, so it’s no surprise that it’s letting its fans down. But in recent years, the game has been a constant talking point among fans because of its polarizing performance.

But despite the franchise containing some rather weak entries, fans have always been drawn to it no matter what. And now it seems to have been the same with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The latest update from Ubisoft shows that the game has surpassed a player base of 20 million users in just 2 years.

Fans are reacting to Assassin’s Creed getting 20 million players
When Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launched in 2020, it received a ton of mixed reviews from fans who felt the game lacked the material that made the franchise so popular. Despite all this, it has built up a stable player base over the past 2 years, totaling 20 million players as of October 2022.
So fans are now saying that while it’s not the best, it still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Particularly graphically and story-wise, it has the potential to be remembered as a milestone for the franchise.
Over 20 million Vikings have embarked on their epic journey to Valhalla. Stand strong by Eivor’s side. From Norway to England. Into the mythical realms of the gods.

Honestly a really entertaining game. Probably one of my most played AC games and I’ve played them all. The only problem is enjoying this game, you can’t treat it like an AC game. It’s essentially a Viking simulator. Great viking game. Terrible Assassins Creed game. Scal!

It should also be noted that the game has over 400 hours of gameplay, so it’s very common for games with such huge maps and stories to become repetitive. But instead, fans think it was indeed brilliant, and the game provided them with some much-needed adventures and stories to live through.
not my favorite AC game but it’s at least 400 hours on PS4 and PS5.

Some more fan reactions
Aside from the fact that the game was a late hit, it’s also worth noting that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might be the last game to feature such a massive open world, due to heavy backlash from fans who thought the game was just too easy big.
But despite all of that, there are still fans who believe the game was able to pull off a stunt like this that makes it even more memorable.
If there’s one thing you can always count on, it’s the same old trolls complaining about every post. 20 million players speak for themselves. If it was a flop it would be 1-2 million

Fans also started asking where the final episode of the game was as they were waiting for it with all their hearts. Although now it seems like the final chapter is almost here.
I’ve really enjoyed the trip so far
I can’t wait to see how it closes the chapter of EivorOddessy has yet to finish
(Note: Valhalla was my first game and I later went back to play Origins and Oddessy.)

I invested more than 270 players in this game, I loved it. Even if it lacks assassination, I’m happy to play a great Viking game. Can’t wait for the last chapter. It’s going to suck to say goodbye to Eivor, but I loved how it was connected to AC3. Bring on Japan!
