The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is one of the most prestigious in the world and we are thrilled to announce today that Shudder and Studio71 have produced Bloody Disgusting V/H/S/99 will have its world premiere as part of the Midnight Madness program! Damn disgusting South also had its world premiere at TIFF in 2015. You can read all about it V/H/S/99 and the filmmakers in our announcement.
We’re honored to be making world premieres along with several other genre films at the festival, which runs from September 8th to 18th.
Strange: The Al Yankovic Storythe upcoming Roku original film, starring Daniel Radcliffe as the beloved parody musician, will also have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, first reported diversity.
Other films slated for Midnight Madness screenings include Ti Wests X precursor pearlanthology horror film V/H/S/99, The Blackening by director Tim Story, The folk joker by Vera Drew, Project wolf hunt by Kim Hongsun, Sick by John Hyams, Sisu by Jalmari Helander and Venus by Jaume Balagueró, all of which will have their world premieres. The series concludes with the Canadian premiere of Lenore will never dieby Filipino filmmaker Martika Ramierez Escobar.
