Apple Watch Prime Day Deals Liveblog: Apple Watch 8 deals and more

In the UK, there’s a modest £10 saving on the 2022 Apple Watch SE (opens in new tab). But it means you can get a month-old Apple Watch for under £250, which is quite remarkable.

For the cheapest Apple Watch experience available, you can’t beat the Apple Watch SE. The 2021 model is almost identical to this year’s and is available on Amazon in the US for $90 for $239 (opens in new tab).

In case you missed it, the all-new Apple Watch Series 8 is currently $50 off in the US (opens in new tab). Such a big saving on a brand new model is rare – and the Series 8 was only announced last month!

Speaking of the Series 7, the Cellular model is currently available in the UK at a whopping £100 discount for just £369 (opens in new tab). With this release, you can enjoy the watch’s many features without being dependent on WiFi or your phone’s data plan. And it happens to be the attractive green version on offer.

This Apple Watch Series 8 proved to be one of the most incremental upgrades yet – so the Series 7 is still worth checking out. With that in mind, the Midnight 45mm GPS model is currently £40 cheaper in the UK, down to £359 (opens in new tab).

Want to keep it stylish? You can currently save a whopping £160 (opens in new tab) on the stainless steel version of the Apple Watch Series 6, complete with Milanese Loop.

If you don’t need the latest and greatest, there are some decent deals on slightly older Apple Watch models. The Series 6 (which isn’t much different from the 7 or 8 apart from a slightly smaller display) is available in the UK at a discount of £55 down to £379 (opens in new tab). And this is the cellular model, which means you can leave your phone at home.

That’s actually a brilliant deal. For context, last Prime Day (July), the then-current Apple Watch Series 7 didn’t have that much of a discount, and it had terrible stock issues… also, don’t you like red? No problem – this deal also applies to the ‘Starlight’ version (that’s cream for you and me).

It’s no secret that Creative Bloq audiences want to see some deals on the latest Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch 8. But there really aren’t any, at least not in the UK… Last year we saw minimal deals on the then-current Apple Watch 7, but that wasn’t the worst of it. Stock also quickly disappeared sharply. At least this year the recent Ultra and 8 are at least available.

While the US sleeps, the UK Apple Watch Prime Day deals keep dancing! And this groovy number is worth a second look. If you’re a Prime member, you can get the Apple Watch SE 2021 (GPS, 41mm) for just £239 (opens in new tab). That’s less than £269, so you’ll save £30 or 11 per cent. Well, that’s not the very best price we’ve seen for this model – that would be £219 in July (for the first Prime Day). Still, it’s money for a really good watch.

A word of warning. So far there have been no Apple Watch 8 or Ultra deals at the Prime Day 2 event. That’s to be expected given they only came out last month. However, as the event progresses, the price of the newer watches may drop by a few pounds – watch out for this area.
